Discontinuation of Product Bulletin

KM 57 Helmets P/N 500-080 and 500-081 Discontinued

Product affected: Kirby Morgan 57 Helmets, P/N 500-080 & 500-081

Kirby Morgan Dive Systems Inc. has discontinued production of the KM 57 Helmet, effective now. This was purely a business decision. It was not based on quality, performance, or any "safety" factors whatsoever having to do with the KM 57.

All spare parts and assemblies for the KM 57 will be available for an indefinite period of time. Manuals, blowaparts, checklists, and the full range of support for the KM 57 helmet will remain. 

 

The Kirby Morgan 57 Helmet is no longer in production, however, support remains available.

Also in regards to spare parts, it may be helpful to know that the only difference between the KM 57 helmets and the KM 37 helmets are their regulators. The KM 57 has the "450" regulator (P/N 505-560). The KM 37 has the "350" regulator (P/N 505-069). All other parts are in common and interchangeable between these two helmets.

The KM 57’s "450" regulator (ordered as kit, 525-766 or 525-763 for the SL 27®) will continue to be available in its current upgraded form (Adjustment side upgrade, Reference Bulletin # 5 of 2016, Link to bulletin: http://www.kirbymorgan.com/support/bulletins/2016/bulletin-05-2016)
